Frequently asked questions
Apache Seeds Ltd. is a locally-owned and family operated small business in the heart of Edmonton. We provide a wide selection and seed availability year-round, including seasonal products. In fact, carrying hard-to-find and native varieties is our specialty. We offer the charm of a local business with the selection of a larger store. See the "About Us" tab for our story.
We carry a wide selection of products to bring you all of the tools you would need to build a flourishing garden. Because product availability can vary, please call our store at (780) 489-4245 to see if a product is in stock. We can put items on hold if necessary, potentially order new stock, or put your information down in our 'Call Back' list once a product becomes available. Please note that calls are only answered during business hours.
If you are struggling to keep your plants alive and thriving, you're not alone! Some plants can be especially finnicky. Additionally, pests can complicate care for your plant. If you are experiencing issues and are seeking advice, please email us at gardening@apacheseeds.ca with a picture and description of your plants or pests. If you plan on coming in to store, please clip a leaf or portion of your plant that seems to be afflicted for better advice. Note that in-store troubleshooting may or may not be available depending on the availability of staff.
