What kinds of things do you have in the greenhouse?
To put it simply - we have lots! There are herbs, tomatoes, vegetables (like cucumbers, squash, onions, peppers, etc.), annual flowers, perennials, shrubs, fruit bushes, vines, and ornamental grasses. If you're looking for something specific, please give us a call to see what is in stock. Some popular bedding plants sell out quickly. Check out some of the gorgeous greenery we have.
*Note: items shown below may sell out. Please call to check availability.

Can you hold plants for me?
Unfortunately, we are unable to. However, we may set aside plants for you if they are paid in advance (i.e. over the phone).
Do you have carts?
Our space in the greenhouse can get tight so instead of carts, we have trays provided. We also have a designated table at the front for customers to leave plants as they shop.
Asparagus
What kinds do you carry?
We have both Mary Washington asparagus and Millennium asparagus crowns. Mary Washington is a popular heritage variety that grows about 6"-8" tall. Created at the University of Guelph, the Millennium asparagus was bred to have better cold hardiness and disease resistance. With a high proportion of male plants, the Millennium asparagus is better able to use its resources to form spears, rather than into producing seed.
How do I plant asparagus crowns?
You'll want a space that is sunny with a well-draining soil. In a trench about 8" deep, spread out your crowns at least 12" apart, with the roots facing down. Cover with about 2" of soil and continue to fill in trench as spears appear. Practice your patience, too, as it typically takes about 3 years for your plants to mature.
